To access the FTP site, you will need FTP client software installed on your computer. A couple of examples are Fetch (for Macintosh) and CuteFTP (for PC). Either of these can be downloaded easily from various websites, including www.download.com and jumbo.com.

When uploading files, it is safest if they are compressed first with either Stuff-It (for Macintosh) or WinZip (for PC) This should help minimize the chance of corruption. Macintosh users: If the files are not compressed first, then the files MUST have an extension added to the end of them. For example, QuarkXpress files would end in .QXD; PageMaker 7 would end with .PMD; InDesign 2 would be .IDD. The FTP site is not Macintosh based and therefore loses file association if there aren't any extensions added.

After you upload your file(s), please notify us of the file(s) you uploaded. You may telephone us, send an e-mail or send a fax. We will need to know the filenames so that we many download the files and proceed. It is also HIGHLY recommended that either a PDF or hard copy is faxed to us so we have some guidance for what the piece should look like.

Once you have accquired your FTP software, you will need the following information to log-on to our site:

Hostname: www.xmascity.com
User: anonymous
Password: use your complete email address as your password (ex. name@company.com)
Directory: /incoming
